Thoughts On Four Letters

Lately I’ve been giving much thought on four letters that we seem to throw here and there. What is love anyway? To each his own definition.
Saying what love is not seems more intuitive than to say what it is.
Love is not equal to settling. Love is not forced. Love is not because of pressure. Love is not an even agreement. Love is not equally divisible. Love is not a burden. Love is not an impasse. Love is not enclosing.
Love is pure and kind. Love is blind. Love is a choice. Love is a want, a desire. Love is a feeling, an action and a person. Love is endearing. Love is warmth, tenderness, sincerity. Love is vector, it has magnitude and direction. Love is unbounded, free and limitless. Love is unyielding, uncompromising, steadfast. Love is firm and yet soft. Love is <3. Love is understanding, accepting and moving on. Love is patience. Love is a promise. Love is hope. Love is transcendental. Love is life. Love is an infinite gift. Love is a power that everyone has. Love is a mystery and at the same time a truth.
Love has always been part of humans since time immemorial. Love is intrinsic in human beings. We love not because we are human, but we are human because we love.
It always has been like that, and always will be.
